Don’t Rely On Us For Jobs, FG Tells Unemployed Graduates

The federal government of Nigeria has asked unemployed youths to look outside the government jobs in their pursuit of a career.

Dr Chris Ngige, Minister of Labour and Employment, while representing the FG at a Townhall Meeting on Popularisation of blue/green collar jobs among graduates of tertiary institutions in Nigeria, which was held in Benin, Edo State added that there are other sustainable ventures outside government jobs that can be embraced by the unemployed.

He said:

The richest youth of the world, aged between 21 and 31 years, are not employees of government but smart entrepreneurs who distinguished themselves in creative skills in various areas.
