Manchester City extended its lead at the top of the Premier league table to 13 points with a daunting victory against 4th-placed West Ham on Saturday.
Manchester City continued its record-breaking 20 game-winning run in all competitions, including 13 in a row in the league thanks to goals from defenders, Ruben Diaz and John Stones.
Diaz opened the scoring in the 30th minute thanks to a wonderful assist from Kevin De Bruyne.
However, the lead was short-lived as Michail Antonio equalised for the visitors on the stroke of halftime.
Not to be outdone by his defensive partner, English defender, John Stones put the league leaders back in front in the 68th minute courtesy of Riyad Mahrez’s assist.
With the victory, City now sit comfortably ahead of city rival, United, who takes on Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
