Aubameyang Is Free To Criticise Me – Mikel Arteta

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has disclosed that he won’t criticise Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for attacking his management style.

Aubameyang recently criticised Arteta and revealed that the Arsenal manager isn’t a big-player manager. The Chelsea forward apologised for his remarks on Tuesday.

Aubameyang was stripped of the captaincy and banished from the Gunners’ first team by Arteta before the club sold the striker for free to Barcelona.

While addressing the media on Wednesday ahead of their Thursday Europa League clash, Arteta said Aubameyang was free to say whatever he liked.

“People are free to discuss what they want,” the former Manchester City assistant coach said when asked what he makes of Aubameyang’s comments and handling big players.
Arteta also spoke on the atmosphere in his squad this season.”

He added, “Phenomenal, I’ve never been in a better dressing room.

“It’s an absolute pleasure to be in this group.”
