Aubameyang Apologises For Arteta Jab

Ex-Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has apologised for making critical comments about his former boss Mikel Arteta in a recently circulated video.

The former Arsenal captain was stripped of his captaincy by Arteta in December 2021 before selling him for free to Barcelona for the second half of last season.

In the now-viral video, Aubameyang claimed Arteta could not “manage big characters or big players”.

However, he has today tweeted his apology, writing: “At the time I still had a lot of bad feelings in me – Arsenal are doing great things this season and I wish all my old guys well, just not on November 6.”

Aubameyang joined Chelsea this summer, and his new team will play Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on November 6.
