The winner of this year’s Africa Youth Championship (AYC) will join Brazil, Korea Republic and Hungary in the group stages of the Fifa Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
The draw for the Under-20 World Cup was conducted in Auckland on Tuesday morning without all four contingents of the Confederation of African Football (Caf), which will be decided at the finals of the continental championship scheduled for Senegal between March 8 and 22.
This year’s World Cup tournament will start on May 30 through June 20.
