APC’ll Bring About The Realization Of Igbo Presidency, Says Imo APGA

APC-LogoDespite the seeming hurdles yet to be crossed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in its bid to be registered by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), politicians are already hinging all their hopes on the party as Chairman of the Imo State chapter of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Prince Marshal Okafor Anyanwu, yesterday said that and Igbo presidency is a possibility with APC.

Anyanwu, who made this known in Owerri, the state capital while addressing newsmen, noted that the current political arrangement in the party has opened up space for people of the South-East to aspire for higher positions in the country.

Expressing optimism on chances of the party being registered by INEC despite the controversies, Anyanwu said that going by the assurance from the commission’s – Prof. Athahiru Jega – the APC is as good as being registered, adding that the party has already out of the 30 positions, allotted 6 to the south-east zone.

“With APC, there is the possibility of an Igbo man to become president, vice president, or even chief judge of the federation among others,” he said.
