2014 World Cup Playoff/ Friendly: Omeruo, Reuben, Return for Ethiopia and Italy

Super Eagles head coach Stephen Keshi has recalled central defender Kenneth Omeruo for this month’s 2014 World Cup playoff against Ethiopia and an international friendly against Italy.

Nigeria will face the ‘Walyas Antelopes’ of Ethiopia on November 16 in a second leg playoff match for next year’s summer World Cup, before lining up against the Azzuris of Italy in a friendly billed for Craven Cottage- home of English club Fulham FC- two days later.

Omeruo has not featured for the Eagles since injuring his shoulder at June’s FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil. He has fully recovered after undergoing surgery on the injury and has been training with the Chelsea squad.
