United Set to Lose Vidic to Inter.

Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic is on the verge of moving to Inter Milan.

Inter are close to signing the Serb, who joined the ‘Red Devils’ on December 25, 2005, for about £7m, according to a report on Metro.

His present contract with the Premier League champions expires at the end of the current season and is free to negotiate a pre-contract move to an overseas club.

It is believed Vidic’s agent and the Serie A club have held positive talks over a switch for next season, after it became clear the 32-year-old is unlikely to pen down a new deal at United.

And reports in Italy says Inter have sent a delegation to Manchester over the weekend to meet with the centre-back.

Inter is said to be offering a two-year contract worth about £100,000-a-week for the former Spartak Moscow player.

The player is expected to thrash out final details of the contract- thought to have been concluded already- with Inter in the next few days.
