Heartland Secures a Point in Kaduna, Rangers Battle to a Goalless Draw in PH

Heartland FC forced Kaduna United to a one-all draw at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium as Enugu Rangers and Dolphins battled to a stalemate on Match Day 6 of the Glo Premier League.

It was a stern battle at the Liberation Stadium on Saturday, with the hosts struggling to maintain possession, while Rangers defended impressively.

Dolphins came close to clinching the tie in the second-half but wasted a hosts of chances, and both sides were however contended to have shared the spoils after 90 minutes.

Rangers occupies the sixth position on the log with eight points from six matches, while Dolphins are 12th after five matches with six points.

In Kaduna, Isah Aminu shot the hosts into the lead from the penalty spot in the 44th minute but Saibou Baradou restored parity for the Nazee Millionaires on his debut.

The draw against the ‘Crocodiles’ was Heartland’s first on the road in six games. They now have four points from a possible 18 and sits 17th in the table.
