QPR Sign Dutch Midfielder Leror Fer

Queens Park Rangers have signed the Netherlands international midfielder Leroy Fer from Norwich for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old has signed a three-year deal at Loftus Road and becomes coach Harry Redknapp’s fifth signing this summer.

Fer said: “I can’t wait to get started here. It was always my dream to stay in England, in the Premier League. QPR did well last season to come up and the squad is full of top players, so I’m delighted to be here.”

Fer played 29 times for the Canaries last season. He was also a part of Holland’s squad at the Fifa World Cup and scored in the group stage match against Chile in Sao Paulo.

Redknapp hailed the former Feyenoord and FC Twente striker as “another excellent signing, a massive boost” for QPR.
