National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), yesterday, explained that the N4,000 fee imposed on prospective corps members for printing of call-up letters on-line was for services and infrastructure to be deployed by the collaborating firm.
Director General of NYSC, Brig-General Jonhson Olawumi, said the money was neither for the scheme nor the corps producing institutions as it was being alleged in some quarters.
NYSC, in a bid to improve its operations in line with global cutting-edge technology, went into partnership with a private company, Messrs. SIDMACH Technologies Nigeria Limited, for the full computerisation of the mobilisation process. [Vanguard]

If the man is looking for a software, there are lots of corp members that can design a computerized software for him at no cost. Or, is he panning to relieve NYSC staff of their jobs?. Do we really need a computerized system? What nonsense is this?. No wonder, soldiers in the NE war front says their generals are more corrupt than politicians.

How on Earth does the DG of NYSC Charge #4000 per Corp member,it is totally outrageous,unimagineabe, misplaced priority and looting taken Too Far. The minister of Education is Be held Respectable in Fact he should refund Such Money With interest first before Sacked from office. While The DG of NYSC Should be Summarily Dismissed from The Army For A party to Such disgraceful Conduct. On-line Printing of Document that cannot exceed 200naira; fresh graduates are Made to Pay 4000naira. God Arise And fight for Us in this Cause.
This is just ridiculous. Is it a curse on us never to think on how to make life better for others but jst this selfish ambition of how to loot the masses?.

While I have to say kudos to Brig-General Jonhson Olawumi because what he did is really increadable you have prove how stupid you are for imposing such a huge amount of money to fresh graduate.this is madness whre do u expect the student to get the 4000 naira just NYSC any way that is naija for us which I know one day it will turn to scholl fee.
