Gbemisola Saraki Donates N1m To Victims Of Kwara Inferno

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State, Sen. Gbemisola Saraki has donated N1 million to the victims of Nov. 3 fire disaster in Bode Saadu in Moro Local Government area of the state, where 14 people died and several houses and properties worth millions were destroyed.

Saraki, whose brother is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state made the donation about 48 hours after losing the PDP gubernatorial primaries in the state. She was represented by Mr Yinusa Afolabi.

She commiserated with the only survivor of the incident and families of the victims and prayed for the repose of the souls, asking that Allah strengthen their families.

Secretary of the Sabo community, while welcoming the kind gesture said that only one person out of the 15 victims survived the incident.

Gbemisola Saraki came third in the Kwara PDP governorship primaries which held on Friday, as Senator Simeon Ajibola won, with Dele Belgore coming second.
