Planning Manager at a Power Company

A Planning Manager with vast working experience in Hydro Power Plants is required for an expanding Power Company in Nigeria. This Energy Company is seen as both exciting and entrepreneurial, so it is a great time to join. You will be responsible for the efficient management of the Planned Maintenance Program for the mechanical, electrical, PCM and auxiliary equipment

To succeed in this role you should have a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, and experience in planning and scheduling in Hydro Power Plants. You will have experience in reviewing and determining equipment condition and point of equipment component in its life cycle.

This is a site-based, Single Status position and is open to International applicants.

Key responsibilities include:
·Developing a 24 month Maintenance Plan in accordance with the RCM studies developed for Maintenance Management, which include day to day maintenance and overhauls.
. Ensuring parts, consumables and expertise is available as scheduled.
· Establishing controls to ensure all equipment history logs are maintained.
· Ensuring continuous improvement of service delivery by utilization of systems to plan and control the flow of maintenance work and record for compliance and equipment history purposes.

Qualifications/Experience required:
·Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
·Experience in planning and scheduling
·Experience in managing and executing Maintenance Plans
·Experience working in a Hydro Power Plant

This position offers a company package of USD $120,000 – $140,000 net per annum plus accommodation and return flights twice per year. Other benefits will be disclosed to those asked to interview.
