The picture above was circulated online showing an old man with a resemblance to APC Vice Presidential candidate, Prof. Osinbajo, and there were claims that the man was his father, while some said it was his brother. Prof Osinbajo however took to Twitter to reply the rumours. See captions of his tweets below.

Why is he denying? Is he ashamed of his own father? A father is a father, no matter his circumstances.
why would he deny his father? Is it because he cannot take care of this old man? I don’t believe it. We should scrap this and face real political issues
WTF is d tweet 4?? Just 2 tell pple he isn’t ur father?? Isn’t he old enof 2be ur father?? Or is ur dead father better than him?? Foolish prof!!
@ Ota Tade n Prince: Are you guys educated at all? The Pro. responded with 2 separate tweets, first acknowledging the father figure of the man in pix, then, educating you that his own biological father died in 1996-that doesn’t satisfied you both. Do you expect him to acknowledge someone else’s father as his just because of politic? By the way,do you know the Prof. personally?
@Prince n Tade, what’s ur problem?D prof.has clear d air abt his biological father so shut up
As in can’t just imagine hw people can be this so useless and foolish, I read some stuff which people av started saying abt D prof that he’s blessed and is relative are suffering that hw can some1 like him wanna handle Nigerians when he can’t take care of is Family….. D man knowing fully well that people wanna take it for political Issue to tackle him responded with love and care that he Isn’t is Relative but even goes to an extra mile that the Man deserves our respect and letting it clear that his Father is dead…. So I see no reason why some people who don’t av respect should call him stupid prof! Useless people
be more concerned with his contribution as vp and prof to nig socioecon, industrial, educ and technological greatness rather than who his father is
.GOD is our FATHER
