President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday, 31st of December in his new year message to Nigerians promised that 2016 would be the beginning of the change in the country regardless of the hard times. – Buhari restated his commitment to fulfilling his promises to Nigerians as he has laid the foundations for the change as promised since the last seven months.
– He said he was very aware of the pains and daily sufferings Nigerians are going through and that living in Aso rock has not alienated him from the plight of Nigerians.
– He said that the 2016 budget proposals will address many of the socio-economic issues plaguing the country.
– He noted that his government will not rest until terror is totally wiped out.
– He stated his resilience to speedily recover stolen funds.
– He noted that Nigeria’s dependence on oil will be greatly reduce.
