The Abia State government said that it has set up a task force to arrest and prosecute all illegal revenue collectors who swindle citizens in the state.
The Commissioner for Information, Mr. Bonnie Iwuoha stated this on Wednesday while briefing newsmen at the end of an emergency Executive Council meeting.
He said the government is worried that several groups operating within the state are collecting revenue from citizens without government approval.
The commissioner said henceforth all those involved in the ugly act will be made to face the wrath of the law.
