Senator Isiaka Adeleke has declared that the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, will return to power in 2019.
He said he is convinced that the opposition party will overrun the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to win the general elections despite its challenges.
Adeleke, who defected to the PDP ahead of the Osun West Senatorial election, said his victory which he described as divine, was enough proof that the party would do well in coming polls.
Dailypost reports that the Senator spoke on Wednesday at the formal declaration of Ogun state ex-governor, Gbenga Daniel, for the position of the national chairmanship.
His words: “PDP will win coming elections and also beat them (APC) in 2019. I am very confident tat this will happen.
“My story is a testimony. When I contested, you all saw what God did. We defeated the incumbent and everyone jubilated”.
On Daniel, Adeleke said he believes the aspirant will perform if elected as PDP chairman.
“OGD is tested and trusted. He is an organizer, a man of the grassroots who will bring everyone together and ensure there are no factions. He is my choice and I urged all to support him”.

APC will suffer defeat in 2019 without any doubt. What a govt. that do not no anything than to lie, blame pple for their mistakes and killing pple with hunger when they cannot be bold enough to account for the money recovered so far. They said they are fighting corruption but corruption is increasing daily. Nonsense.
APC Will never roll this country in 2019 and God will not support them in their election. PDP will return their sit in 2019 in Jesus name amen.

The claims made against Diezani are excessively bloated and in bad Faith. Fellow, how much oil did Nigeria sell in six years? Is PMB’s govt saying all the money was kept in Diezani’s custody? Pls. be informed, corruption has only become more crafty and pronounced now under PMB than it has ever been. Tell me what you can do in Nigeria today that does not attract ‘extra’ charge? To me 2019 is too far.I wish time will run fast for APC to be brushed aside so that lives of Nigerians will be safer.
