Sleeping is a gift as there are quite a number of people that find sleeping a difficult thing to do. Several therapies and such as; counting sheep, sleeping pills, etc. Fret no more! Some studies have shown that there are natural ways not just to sleep, but to stay asleep. If you’re a restless sleeper, try eating any of these foods a few hours before bedtime and be ready to catch some zzzs.


Raw honey contains a high amount of fructose and glucose. While glucose gives your body a small burst of energy in the form of blood sugar, fructose takes much longer to process. As shocking as this may sound and I know a lot of fit-fam peeps would disagree because it is rich in fat but, a slice just before bedtime has been known to help put one to sleep faster than normal. Honestly, any excuse to eat pizza is good! The key is to not over eat!
