It was indeed a memorable day at Protea Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, as wave making Yoruba actor, Kolade Oyewande aka Highlander finally walked down the aisle with his long time lover, Aishat.
After the other ceremonial activities at the event, an opening prayer was said by one of the family members of the couple, who committed the event in the able hands of God for total control at the occasion.
Subsequently, the MC of the day, Femi Adebayo took on the mic to kick off the wedding reception. Shortly after that, the chairman of the occasion, Aina Gold, a Nollywood Actor advised the newly married couple to always live in unity and be there for one another at all times.
Thereafter, the well-decorated wedding cake was cut, as another Nollywood Actor, Adeniyi Johnson coordinated the toast. The dance floor was declared opened as Kolade and Aishat took on the stage for their first official dance.
The sudden appearance of the Former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and the Former Super Eagles striker, Nwankwo Kanu at the occasion added glamour to the already colourful event.
