The Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has named his 23-man squad that will represent Nigeria in the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia. Rohr’s announcement saw Ola Aina and Mikel Agu sent packing.
18 debutants join John Obi Mikel, Ahmed Musa, Ogenyi Onazi, Kenneth Omeruo and Victor Moses in the list that was released after the Super Eagles bowed 2-1 to England at Wembley Stadium.

Truthfully, Out of the 25men
The likely 2 to be dropped still remains. Aina and Agu. All we should hope for is that the coach picks the right 11men to start each game. Onazi and Joel possibly won’t get a starting chance. Knowing that Ndidi is getting fit. It’s a good squad.— Pearce Adeola (@PearceAdeola) June 3, 2018
Why drop Aina instead of Echiejile? Why is Awaziem still there? Joel Obi and Onazi Ogenyi should be dropped too. Well, Rohr has made his final selection. He should expect fiery criticisms when he fails to win a match in the world cup.

Bryan Idowu was nowhere defensive…he was just missing out of his position throughout the game against England..not that professional enough to play at big stage..but Gernot Rohr has spoken…

No goal keeper! smh. I will support my team but as soon as they go out I port. We had four years to plan yet sadly every time an attacker proceeds to our defense we will begin to pray to God as if other countries don’t serve God too.
