His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, the spiritual leader of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, has declared that the 2019 presidential and governorship elections will shock the entire world, not only Nigerians.
He made the assertion on Tuesday, January 1, in the New Year message he delivered at his church’s headquarters in Calabar, Daily Trust reports.
The spiritual leader said God has restored peace in the country, and that the shock should not cause panic. Obu had previously stated that it was those that had already been spiritually selected who would emerge as leaders of the country at the general elections; not really those who are presently flag bearers of different political parties.
He urged Nigerians to live peaceably, forgive each other, care for one another and persist in doing good only, so that goodness will be the country’s lot.
Obu said immediate payback will be the lots of many and warned against further killings in the country and political violence as the year 2019 sets in.
He said:
“The general elections in Nigeria holding from next month hold surprises and will shock Nigerians and the entire world. But the children of God have no need to panic. God the Father has restored peace all over Nigeria. “Nigerians should learn to live in peace, care for and forgive themselves in 2019. This year, many will have immediate payback for whatever they do.”
