Emeka Ihedioha, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party has been declared the governor-elect of Imo State.
Ihedioha polled 273,404 votes to defeat Uche Nwosu of the Action Alliance who polled 190 364 votes to come second, while APGA’s Ararume polled 114,676 votes to ckme third.
This victory signals the beginning of a new party’s administration in Imo State since 2011.
