Apple Founder Steve Jobs Dead at 56


Steve Jobs the founder and chairman of Apple is dead.
Steve Jobs died at the age of 56 after a very long battle with cancer which saw him stepping down as the CEO of Apple in August.
Steve Jobs death came a day after Tim Cook, the new CEO of Apple announced the new iPhone the iPhone 4S.
Steve Jobs while handing over to TIm Cook last year said: “I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.”
Steve Jobs had been battling with cancer and related ailments for many years. He underwent surgery for cancer in 2004 and has been through different procedures including a liver transplant.
Apple has released a statement on his death, find it below:
“We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today.

Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.

His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.”
