Ex-Lagos State Governor and the national leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria,Sen.Ahmed Bola Tinubu will today join the American President,Barrack Obama and leaders of the Democratic party to attend the party’s 3-day national convention at Charlotte,North Carolina,United States.
Tinubu was invited to the convention,according to the party, in his capacity as the leader of opposition in Nigeria and an influential national figure in Nigeria.Asiwaju,as he is fondly called,will be at the ring side as the Democratic party conducts its activities;which will culminate in the nomination of President Barrack Obama as the party’s candidate in the forthcoming American Presidential Election slated for November 2012.
This is coming barely a week after Tinubu ‘s appointment as the Pro-Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State,Nigeria.
I am happy for him shall,but he has not done anything to affect the lives of less privilage in the societies. I urged him to think abot this.
