The president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Mallam Aminu Maigari has predicted the Super Eagles will get their 2014 World Cup qualifying campain back on track with a win in Kenya come June.
Nigeria are currently leading Group F on 5 points from three matches, tied with Malawi.
The Super Eagles needed an extra time goal to force a draw out of the visiting Harambee stars in Calabar, a result that has left the national football team’s campaign for Brazil 2014 an unstable affair.
However, Maigari speaking to MTNFootball.com expressed his confidence in the national team.
“Yes, we were all disappointed we did not beat the Kenyans at home last month, but that’s part of the game. The players were disappointed,” Maigari said.
“Now we have to go and play better in Kenya and win.”
Nigeria have two away games, while Malawi (second on the group table) have two home games with a final clash between the two teams slated for September in Nigeria.
“I am not bothered about whether a team is playing at home or away. The most important thing is to ensure that you are at your best always, whether at home or away,” he argued.
“Nothing stops us from winning away or home. We will go to Kenya and win. God willing we will be in Brazil for the Word cup.”

  1. But always pay them their match bonus and allowance as at when due or they disgrace your predictions. Instead of playing world cup in Brazil they will be watching it from satellites in their homes/ viewing centres across the country
