Fresh attacks in Zangang Chiefdom in Kaura local government area of Kaduna state have claimed 12 lives, including women and children.
The incident followed a rampage by gunmen on Monday night.
The Council Chairman, Kumai Badu, confirmed the incident in a telephone interview with an agency reporter.
He said that 12 persons had so far been confirmed dead while several others got varying degrees of injury.
According to the chairman, several houses and property were also destroyed in the attacks.
He added that although calm was restored to the area by the military, the people had yet to recover from the shock of the attacks.
It was further gathered that four persons were apprehended by the military in connection with the attacks.
It would be recalled that similar attacks were carried out in the area in mid April which claimed several lives and property.

This country needs God’s grace even more than the whole world can claim to need. we really to put things straight to ourselves both individually and otherwise, if “ONE NIGERIA” is okay, then let’s go by it, but if it isn’t working then let’s make this all important separation. i see it as being fooled that we assume oneness while some of us in the north kill, murder and eliminate their fellow Nigerians. I am not writing to be heard, because I don’t think I’m the 1st to have suggested this
Separation is d only solution. Light & darkness hav nothing in common. Hausa/foolanis see others tribes as enemies, they are d ones behind all these killings.
Seperate d country now cos Muslems or northerners are biting more dan dey can chew.
What is our country Nigeria turning into. We actually need the Grace of God in this country! We preach of love,peace,togetherness….as in ‘ONE NIGERIA’ Sincerely,its not working. I think its better for the country to be separated.
Separation is the best
Its not as if we dont have good leaders…. Followership is the function of leadership….. Can somebody discuss abt this?

Time have gone past for separation, let fight a little more cause if we separate the minority in the north (christians) will be roasted like chicken so let’s stand by them till we decide otherwise JESUS IS LORD
