EPL Clubs Dismiss Players; Arshavin, Malouda, Gallas, Phil Neville Out.

The official lists of players released by Premier League clubs have been published with Andre Ashavin, Roque Santa Cruz and William Gallas heading the list.

Some of the other players are Phil Neville, David Bentley, Filippo Mancini, Simon Davies, Mark Schwarzer, Michael Owen and Mark Gower.

Arsenal released the largest number of players from their squad, with Arshavin just one of 14 players to depart the Gunners.

The 32-year-old Russian joined Arsenal from Zenith St. Petersburg for a reported £15 million in January of 2009.

35-year-old Frenchman William Gallas has also been shown the exit door, three years after joining from Arsenal. Gallas made 78 appearances for Spurs, 24 of those coming from last season.

Santa Cruz joined Manchester City for around £18 million from Blackburn Rovers in 2009 but played just 20 games for the club.

Eight years since Phil Neville joined Everton from Manchester United, he has been told he could now leave after making over 300 appearances in all competitions for the Merseyside club.

Neville was considered for the Everton managerial post before Roberto Martinez took it up.

Roberto Mancini’s 22-year-old son, Filippo, will follow his father out of the Etihad, after the former was dismissed due to an unproductive season at the helm.

The Dismissed Arsenal Players are: Sebastien Squillaci, Denilson, Conor Henderson, Samir Bihmoutine, Reice Charles-Cook, Craig Eastmond, Sead Hajrovic, Jernade Meade, Nigel Oldfield Spence-Neita, Joshua Rees, Philip Roberts, James Shea, Sanchez Watt and Andre Arshavin.

Chelsea: Yossi Benayoun, Abdul Deen-Conteh, Paulo Fereira, Ross Turnbull, Archange Nkumu, Florent Malouda, Amin Affane and Hilario.
