Taraba Ag. Gov. Bares Fangs Again, Boots Two Special Advisers From Cabinet

Garba UmarThe Acting Governor of Taraba, Alhaji Garba Umar, on Thursday bared his fang on two Special Advisers as he approved their immediate sacking from the state’s cabinet.

Those affected are, the Special Adviser for Education, Mr Toyonga Binga, and his counterpart for the Rural Development, Mr Joseph Tahwa.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Press Secretary to the Acting Governor, Mr Kefas Sule, and made available to newsmen in Jalingo.

The statement noted that the services of the affected officers were no longer required by the government.

The statement did not, however, give any further reason for their removal.

It would be recalled that barely two weeks ago, the Secretary to the State Government, (SSG), five commissioners and two special advisers were also removed.

They were sacked for allegedly mismanaging the N400 million received from the Federal Government as flood disaster grant for 2012. (NAN)
