Five Powerlifters Set to Represent Nigeria at the IPC World Championships.

The Nigerian Professional Power-Lifting Association (NPPA) has named five powerlifters to represent the country at the forthcoming International Power-Lifting Federation (IPF) World Championship in Stavanger, Norway.

The NPPA Secretary, Peter Oluwo, revealed this to newsmen in Lagos on Monday that the athletes are expected to depart Nigeria on November 4 for the annual tournament scheduled to hold from November 3 to November 10.

Three male and two female powerlifters namely: Archibong Samuel, Sunday Erepadei, Andrew John, Glory Moses and Abiola Arowosere will represent the country.

“These athletes are ready for the competition. They have been training rigorously to enhance their performances in the competition,” Oluwo said.

According to the secretary, these athletes will enter for all the events in the championships.
