An angry mob on Tuesday roasted a native doctor who operates at Okpanam community near Asaba, Delta State for hynotising and having sexual intercourse with a married woman.
According to report, a married woman had gone to the native doctor identified as Baba Emeka to solicit his help over the marital issues she was having with her husband.
The self-acclaimed native doctor who specialises in preparing love portions had prepared a charm for the woman. The charm did not work as the woman expected rather it was working in reverse as she started having dreams about the native doctor having sex with her.
She then went back to him for another set of charms as the previous one was not working as expected. When she got there, she was hypnotised by the native doctor who then began to have sex with her.
The angry mob beat him to stupor before setting him ablaze.
Confirming the incident, the divisional police officer in the area, who preferred anonymity, said that some persons had been arrested for interrogation.
