Former Minister of Information and National Orientation during the Olusegun Obasanjo administration, Mr. Frank Nweke Jnr, has been endorsed by a group, the Nkanu Peoples Forum (NPF), to represent Enugu East next year in the National Assembly.
Rising from its first quarter meeting in Agbani, the group said it chose Nweke Jnr to represent the zone in the next legislative assembly because he met their criteria.
NPF President, Chief Jerry Okoh, added that the group, after an examination of Nkanu’s sons and daughters, chose Nweke Jnr, who is currently the Director-General of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group, NESG, because of his vast knowledge of national and international affairs.
