Warri Wolves to Face CA Bizertin in the Next Round of the Confederation Cup

Warri Wolves will be up against CA Bizertin of Tunisia in the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup after they eliminated Cameroon’s Union Douala.

Wolves played out a 1-1 draw with Douala in Warri on Sunday and advanced 4-3 on aggregate to the next stage of the competition, thanks to a 3-2 win in Cameroon.

Musa Najare broke the deadlock for the hosts from the penalty spot in the 55th minute, after Etebo Oghenekaro was brought down inside the box.

Djan Tchan Christian helped the visitors draw level from the penalty spot the 90th minute.

Nigeria’s other representatives in the competition, Bayelsa United, will face How Mine of Zimbabwe in the second round.

The second round matches will be played in the weekend of March 21-23.
