2015: APC Will ‘Chase Out’ PDP From Bayelsa – Sylva

Sylva3_462273906Ex-Bayelsa State Governor, Mr. Timipre Sylva has declared that the All Progressives Congress, APC, will ‘chase out’ the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in his state come 2015.

He stated this when he led a delegation to pay Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State a courtesy visit on Friday at the Government House, Port Harcourt.

Sylva, who was accompanied by some former Bayelsa council chairmen, remarked that the APC in the state was on the victory path and would do work hard to dislodge Governor Seriake Dickson.

“We are united, we are ready, we are marching on to take chase out those presently occupying there”.

The former governor, who is currently being probed by the EFCC over some financial dealings in his first and only term as governor of Bayelsa, enjoined Amaechi to continue to give the APC the support it requires as the party seeks to sack the ruling PDP both at the national and state levels.

In his response, Governor Amaechi thanked the delegation for the visit.

He advised the national leadership of the APC to reconcile factions within its fold in Bayelsa state, pleading with members to sheathe their swords and work towards ending the reign of the PDP come 2015.
