You Can’t Hold Jonathan Accountable If He Doesn’t Have Your Support – Tukur Tells Nigerians

jonathan-tukurThe immediate past national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, yesterday told a group campaigning for President Goodluck Jonathan’s second term ambition in 2015, to match talks with deeds.

Tukur, who spoke when the group, Goodluck Solidarity Mandate (GSM), paid him a courtesy call at his Wuse residence in Abuja, said when a person is elected president of the country, everybody owns a duty to support him stressing that if followers support their leaders, they will be sure of holding them accountable.

“Jonathan is the one, support him and ensure that peace reign, ensure we succeed because we are the majority. Because of that, we have to come together, unite ourselves to ensure that 2015 by the grace of God, because of his good transformation agenda, we give him a second term he is entitled to by even the constitution of our country, it is our right”, he said.
