The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has made some amendments to fixtures venues for Friday’s women’s Federation Cup Semi-finals.
Sunshine Queens tackle Nasarawa Amazons, while Rivers Angels and Delta Queens are the other sides locked in a battle for a place in the final, billed for the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, on August 16.
The football federation had earlier intended to schedule both semi-final games for the same venue for reasons of close monitoring and live broadcast purpose, but officials have now decided to move one of the matches to ensure for equidistant route for either of the teams on the road.
The changes in the women’s event, sees the match between Sunshine Queens and Nasarawa Amazons rescheduled for the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja on Friday, while Rivers Angels and Delta Queens retain their FIFA Goal Project, Abuja venue for the same day.
