The Blues are also tipped to win the English Premier League after key acquisitions.

Chelsea have won the last six meetings, scoring 20 goals. Most recently, they beat Leicester 5-2 in an FA Cup quarter-final at Stamford Bridge in March 2012.
Leicester have only won four of their previous 45 league visits to Stamford Bridge. Three of those victories came in the 1960s, while the other was a 2-0 Premier League win in September 2000 when Muzzy Izzet and Stan Collymore scored
Saturday’s fixture comes 11 years to the day since the most recent Premier League meeting between the sides, on 23 August 2003 – Chelsea won 2-1 in their first home league match of the Roman Abramovich era.

Chelsea went successive home games without a win at the end of last season. Sunderland ended Jose Mourinho’s unbeaten record at Stamford Bridge in his 78th home league game in charge, and Norwich then held the Blues to a goalless draw. The only time Chelsea have failed to win three consecutive league home matches under Mourinho was in April and May 2007.
They have not lost one of their first two league fixtures of the season since 2006.
Cesc Fabregas returned to the Premier League with two assists in his first match, against Burnley. According to Opta, he has registered 50 assists in his last 104 Premier League appearances.
Diego Costa scored 17 minutes into his debut in that match. It took Chelsea’s strikers until New Year’s Day to score a league goal away from home last season.

Leicester City

The Foxes had the best away record in the Championship last season, winning 14 of their 23 fixtures and accruing 47 points.
Their most recent away defeat in the league came last December at Brighton.
Leicester’s last Premier League away win was in March 2004 against Birmingham City.

Chelsea have no injuries worries ahead of Saturday’s clash but the visitors will be without midfielders Danny Drinkwater and Matty James, who have respective hamstring and shin injuries.
