Crown FC Fire Top Bosses

Relegated Glo Premier League clubs Crown FC have fired its top officials Fatai Olayinka and Tony Rafua for failing to meet targets.

The Ogbomoso-based club has terminated its ties with manager Olayinka and general manager Rafua for “lack of proper direction, according to a top official of the Oyo sports ministry.

They have also been paid off, with the club’s playing staff also set to receive their outstanding three months’ salaries, reports AfricanFootball.com.

The NPFl club had earlier dismissed coach Lawrence Akpokona twice.

Crown are 19th in the league table on 36 points with just next weekend’s match to go and are already destined for life in the lower league a year after their promotion.
