Milton Keynes Dons are keen on signing young Nigerian forward, Chuba Akpom in a bid to improve their attacking option.
The third-tier club are looking to replace the departed Benik Afobe, who has joined Wolves on a permanent deal from Arsenal.
Akpom, 19, returned to Arsenal after loan spells at Brentford and Coventry City. He made his first-team debut for the Gunners in a 3-1 win over Sunderland in the Premier League in September.
His first league appearance of the current campaign came during the defeat by Southampton on January 1.
The Dons are confident Akpom, who has featured for England at youth levels, is the right replacement for Afobe, who had scored 19 goals in his matches with the Stadium:mk outfit.
