National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bola Tinubu has called on members of the party to embark on aggressive campaign at the grassroots to ensure the party wins in the general elections.

Speaking at an APC stakeholders meeting held at the party secretariat in Lagos, the former Lagos State governor said that ward meetings should now be constant and regular following the postponement of the elections.

“We have to restrategise; all of you should go back to your various constituencies starting from tomorrow,” the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) quoted him to have said.

He urged Lagos residents to ensure they collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and secure them as they would determine their future. Tinubu also advised the party members to encourage others in their locality who had yet to obtain their PVCs to do so. They are also urged to step up campaign for the party.

“Go ahead and campaign for APC because this party has indeed worked for the people,” Tinubu said.
