My Administration Will Focus On Economic Prosperity Of Lagos – Ambode

AKINWUMI AMBODEGovernorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, has said that boosting the state’s economic prosperity would form the crux of his administration if elected in the April 11 election.

Ambode, who said this at a public forum in Lagos, also pledged to pursue progammes geared towards the expansion of the Lekki Free Trade Zone and alleviate poverty in all strata of the state.

The APC flag bearer promised to transform Ibeju Lekki area and ensure continuation of the development of the LFTZ.

He added that if elected, his administration would also construct a sports complex in the area to discover and nurture the several budding talents that abound in the area especially for swimmers, so that they can attain great heights with their talents.

Ambode, who is a former accountant general of the state, reiterated his promise to create an Employment Trust Fund and provide N1billion every year for each division in the state for unemployed people to access loans that would make them self-reliant.

He added that his administration would explore the tourist potentials of Ibeju-Lekki just as he would ensure that the aged and widows would be carried along in the scheme of things.
