Ex-Rangers Coach, Obuh Gets Gabros Role

Ex-Flying Eagles and Enugu Rangers coach, John Obuh, has been handed a supervisory role at Glo Premier League side Gabros FC.

He is joined by former Nigeria u-17 national team coach, Fanny Amun, as well as Waidi Akanni- an ex-Nigeria international- in the dugout of the Nnewi club.

Amun has been named general overseer of the club while Akanni will act as consultant.

Bulgarian coach Mitko Dobrev will continue in his role as technical adviser of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side which was bought over by new owner Ifeanyi Ubah. Willy Udobe is Gabros chief coach and Kingsley Obiekwu assistant coach.

Gabros are vying for a top-four finish in the Glo Premier League this season and to further enhance their chances have moved in time to improve their backroom staff.

They are currently second in the League table on 13 points, a point behind leaders Giwa FC. They are away to FC Taraba in a Match Day 8 fixture scheduled for 10 Sunday, April.
