Head coach of the Nigeria Under-17 side, Emmanuel Amuneke, plans to take a second string side to the 4 Nation Invitational Tournament in Suwon, South Korea.

The ex-Nigeria international and one-time Caf Player of the Year has stressed the need for top class matches exposure for Golden Eaglets newcomers ahead of the 2015 Under-17 World Cup in Chile.

New players like defender Ejike Ikwu, midfielder Gavi Opeoluwa and striker Odufeso Babatunde are expected to get Amuneke’s nod for the tournament.

” We have some exciting new players who have shown us some conviction in training but they need exposure and we are grateful for this tournament opportunity in Korea,” Amuneke told

The 4-Nation tournament will be played on a round-robin basis amongst host Korea, Nigeria, Brazil and USA between June 10 and 14.
