The ministerial nominee from Borno State and former House of Representatives member, Hon. Baba Shehuri Mustapha has been screened by the Senate.
The ministerial nominee, whose resume showed that he is a grassroots politician having being a local government chairman and member of the Federal House of Representatives, took only one question from the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki on how to improve local government administration.
In his response, Mr. Mustapha said going by his experience, financial autonomy for local governments would go a long way in improving the third tier of government.
