Deal with Fulani Herdsmen First Before Dealing With Vandals Like Boko Haram- Reno Omokri Tells Buhari

muhammadu-buhari-1Reno Omokri, a former Special Adviser on New Media to immediate past President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to first deal with the emerging threat posed by Fulani herdsmen before turning his focus on pipeline vandals.
President Buhari on Wednesday had while addressing the Nigerian Community in Beijing, the capital city of China, vowed to deal with vandals and saboteurs blowing up pipelines and installations the same he dealt with Boko Haram.
He was quoted in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, as saying: “The government is still being dared, but those who are sensible should have learnt a lesson. Those who are mad, let them continue in their madness.
“I am aware that in the last two weeks, the national grid collapsed a number of times. I hope this message will reach the vandals and saboteurs who are blowing up pipelines and installations.
“We will deal with them the way we dealt with Boko Haram”.
Reacting to the comment in a series of tweets via his verified Twitter handle @renoomokri, the former presidential aide said killing of unarmed citizens by Fulani herdsmen was “more evil and should provoke greater action”.
In the past few weeks, armed herdsmen have been accused of attacking communities and destroying farmlands in Benue, Taraba, Ondo and Enugu States, with hundreds, including women and children, killed.
President Buhari has been accused in some quarters of doing very little or even nothing at all to stop the killings because just like the perpetrators, he is a Fulani from Katsina State.

Mr. Omokri, a California-based pastor, also bared his mind on the anti-corruption war of the Buhari administration, expressing surprise that no one has been arrested and prosecuted for allegedly padding the 2016 budget.
