SEE Speaker Dogara’s Alleged Abuja Mansion

The former Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has asked law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute some leaders of the House and jail them for allegedly padding the 2016 budget.

Jibrin, who spoke with journalists  recently said, he personally submitted petitions against Speaker of the House of Representative, Yakubu Dogara, Deputy Speaker Yussuf Lasun, Minority Whip Alhassan Doguwa, Minority Leader Leo Ogor and nine other members of the House who served as committee chairpersons.

He said: “We were at the ICPC, where we met with the chairman; also the DSS, we were also at the EFCC and concluding here at the Police Force Headquarters.”

He added that: “We have submitted the petitions, so I have done my own part, I have given my word that I will give maximum support and cooperation to the security and anti-corruption agencies to commence an investigation with immediate effect so that by the grace of God prosecution can start.”

He demanded, “thorough investigation and very quick prosecution so that we can send some people to jail.”

Abdulmumin Jibrin accused the House Members in the petition of padding the 2016 National budget while denying allegations of doing same as Chairman House Committee on Appropriations.

Meanwhile, Sahara Reporters have exposed one of Speaker Dogara’s alleged Abuja Mansion located on Persian Gulf Close Wuse ll Abuja. The report says, the edifice was built within 6 months of getting into power.
