Saudi Arabia has said it foiled a planned attack on an international football match in its city of Jeddah.
Saudi authorities claim militants had plotted to bomb a World Cup qualifying game between the country and the United Arab Emirates in October 11.
The Saudi interior ministry says eight suspects, including Saudi nationals, 2 Pakistanis, a Sudanese and a Syrian, have been arrested from two terrorist cells.
Also, a list of several more suspects wanted for their alleged involvement in planning attacks in other cities was published.
Saudi has in recent years been a target of both ISIS and Yemeni Houthi militia.
Just recently, a ballistic missile was fired from Yemen to Mecca – It was however intercepted and downed.
