A gang of criminals have been caught while allegedly vandalizing transformers and stealing electric cables in Imo state.
Luck has ran out on some notorious thieves after they were caught by men of Imo security network vandalizing transformers and stealing electric cables belonging to the Enugu Electricity Development Company EEDC.
The two were seriously beaten and stripped unclad over the incident.
The criminals were caught at Etiti Mgbidi Autonomous Oru west LGA in the act. They were identified as Aliu and Mohammed from Kano state and Idris from Niger Republic.
After they were arrested yesterday following a tip off, they were handed over to the police for further interrogations.
