Access Bank has emerged the winner of the ‘Best Overall Website’ in the Banking Category of the 2017 Web Jurist Awards by Phillips Consulting.
The Bank accumulated 315 points as it triumphed over other banks on almost all parameters used to evaluate the winners.
The prominent Bank was closely followed by Zenith Bank with a total rating of 303 points, while UBA took the third spot.
Speaking while receiving the award, Access Bank’s Group Head, Corporate Communications, Amaechi Okobi, said that the bank’s current website was redesigned after listening to customers’ needs for better navigation-experience and usage.
‘Our Customers are everything and we would continually seek innovative ways to meet their needs with speed in a highly secure environment’, Amaechi said.
The Web Jurist award is one of the most respected assessments of websites in Nigeria.
The ratings have, since inception, helped institutions create better website experience for their users. Phillips Consulting Limited has, over the years, played the role of development partner to banks and other organizations in Nigeria who have a web presence.
