#BBNaija: Controversial Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo Blasts Youths Who Pay To Vote For Contestant

Nigerian journalist and social media personality, Kemi Olunloyo, who is the controversial daughter of former governor of Oyo State, Victor Omololu Olunloyo, has taken to her Instagram page to fire shots at Nigerian youths who waste their time and money voting housemates at Big Brother Naija house.

Kemi said that Nigerian youths are smart but not intelligent, adding that she doesn’t see the need of the same youths complaining of unemployment and poverty wasting their money on a reality TV show.

She narrated that the amount of money Big Broher makes from each contestant. According to her, the just evicted contestant Anto had about 11 million people who voted for her with N30 Naira which approximates N320million.

She said that youths were wasting away their lives voting for irrelevant things instead of concentrating on issues that are worth taking care of. She also questioned young people if they will pay to vote for politicians into office.

She wrote: “I’ve always said our #Nigerian youth are smart but NOT intelligent. Anto was voted off #BBNaija. N30/vote with 11million votes, they just paid the producers N330M and they are complaining of poverty, unemployment and hunger.

“Young ppl are throwing their lives away paying to vote on a reality show weekly. Will you pay to vote for a politician?”
