Former presidential aide, Mr Reno Omokri has faulted claims by president Muhammadu Buhari’s senior special assistant that the President is fit to contest for second term because he walked 800m.
The former presidential aide said it was wrong for Mr Garba Shehu to try to sell Buhari on the account that he can ‘walk’ not ‘work’.
Mr Omokri, who has been a major critic of the present administration said Garba sells Buhari to Nigerians not for the economy he savaged, nor the jobs he created but because he walked 800 meters.
He said these via some tweets on Tuesday, stressing that a candidate should be sold by his achievements not by his trekking feat.
He wrote:
